Pusa is a local term for cat, this one has the most 'creative' name, Pusa!
They are in military attention! These are from three generations.
This is a farm pet, grazing around the property. We have six of them. They have ropes on their heads so they will not go far from where they are left grazing. This is not roped yet because it is still a kid.
When they were still kids, they enter the house for petting, and even when already old cannot get off the habit
This is a neighbor's farm pet, but its skin looks naturally dirty. And who will allow it to enter a house? It definitely is just relegated as a farm pet. Have you seen a cow inside a house!
Love the photos. The cats are adorable and so are the goats.

Lovely big critters! The trio form a great military team. I have been hoping to 'capture' some goats. Still hoping... As for cow in the house, I'm not sure about my daughter. If she is allowed, she might just let all the animals be in her bedroom.
ReplyDeleteCher of Sunray Gardens - thanks for the visit and the kind words.
ReplyDeleteOne - I laughed with what you said. We have chickens and pigs too. Can you imagine if a pig is inside the house too? My mother once saved a newly born goat from dying because it got wet from too much rain and its mother died, i forgot why. So Mother became surrogate and give its milk through a baby's bottle. It cries like a baby. When it grew up, it always come to the house when hungry even if it is already eating grasses and not milk anymore. It also tag or bite on my mother's skirt always. It was actually funny.
Cute cats, and I like the long eared goats...
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE all your pets, house & farm!! LOVELY post and photos!
ReplyDeleteAndrea,
ReplyDeleteThe 3 kitties totally cute!!!
I think the photos are precious Andrea. The three generation kitty portrait is priceless! I have never seen a cow in a house. Perhaps in India?
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely cat shots! Such soulful eyes.
ReplyDeleteI love all your cute critters. The kitties are cute at military attention. I love the goats too, but I am not sure if I would want them in my house. Great photos, have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteInteresting farm friends you have there, Andrea.I'd let the goat in too, it is adorable.
ReplyDeleteRosie
Love your Pusa pics. Absolutely cute!!! I've been to places where they allow chickens and other farm animals into their house. It was fascinating.
ReplyDeleteAndrea, your post made me smile. We just made a home for an abandoned kitten, and I must say it takes a lot of patience. But she is teaching us well... 4 a.m. she cried loudly to say she had eaten her entire bowl of food. ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Andrea, Great group of furry critters... Love the picture of the 3 cats.. The one on the left has such expressive eyes...
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Hugs,
Betsy
Big or small, adorable all!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteFun shots with the Cardinal at the park. Have a lovely weekend!
These are all lovely photos, the kittens are very special but I love your goats and your neighbor's farm met is very handsome.
ReplyDeleteLove those kitties! My uncle had a goat who came into the house ... especially when someone new came to visit! Happy Critter Day!
ReplyDeleteThat tiger cat has the most beautiful green eyes! Your goats are adorable~we have a lot of them roaming around our farm, and they are all pets too! That cow looks awfully skinny. I have had a calf or two in my kitchen when they were born during cold weather, but I certainly wouldn't want a grown one in the house.
ReplyDeletethe goats are my favorite. They are really cute and I like the expression on the first goat.
ReplyDeleteFinally goats! They are awfully cute. Your kid reminds me of my first kids.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday everyone, it is very gloomy raining sporadically here. No going out to shop for Christmas goodies!

It's nice for kids to grow up with animals around them. You were lucky. When I was a kid, we were not allowed pets. My mother said she already took care of six monkeys (she had five children ;-) ). When my honey finally did get a dog for us, it was a beautiful Dobie we adored, but he was not allowed in the house.
ReplyDelete[Yes I was in a boat when I took the bridge shot... but we were moving past it, not through. It was the type of shot I had taken pre-digital days - but with SEVEN bridges - and I wanted it again... yet four is the best I could get. You too find some bright spots in this very wet and dreary day, Andrea!]
wonderful photos... cute cats!

Hi Andrea - love your photos, don't want to pick a favourite (... OK, it's the goats).
ReplyDeleteIn the UK at this time of year, there are cute animal calendars on sale everywhere. These photos are better.
No matter farm or house they are all adorable, happy sooc Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI love your cats and goats. Precious!
ReplyDeleteThankfully, I have NEVER seen a cow in house!
I love the farm pets - the goats are so cute! That's awesome that they love to be pet even as they get older!
ReplyDeleteI love all the 'big critters'. Oh, Andrea, your farm animals and provincial escapades reminds me so much of my childhood. You are still living out my long gone memories of those carefree days. When I see these pictures, I realise how much I still miss my beloved (but departed) parents and grandparents. Cows do wander into the temple compound where I stayed and I used to help my grandma collect cow dung for her bougainvilleas. My grandma and me even witnessed a cow gave birth to a calf one stormy evening. The pregnant cow went into labour in the temple grounds and luckily the owners came on time to assist. What an unforgetable experience it was for me.
ReplyDeleteFrancisca - I guess your mother had a hard time with the six monkeys that she cannot anymore tolerate even an additional 1 dog! haha. We always had animals when we were young. I remember when my father give our puppy to a friend who wants it so much. Nobody talked to him for 2 weeks. It just changed when he came home one day with another puppy.
ReplyDeleteb-a-g -- thanks for your kind words, if only i can make calendars and sell it to UK, maybe i will be very happy!
Annie - as Carol said maybe it is only in India where a house can be in a house, but maybe that is also a speculation. It is too big for the house. LOL
Autumn Belle - I guess we all remember with nostalgia our childhood days. Malaysia is already very metropolitan and the old kampung already looking like modern subdivisions now. My friend brought us to her old parents home, and it doesn't look like a province anymore. Maybe if you can come over, i can bring you to the provinces to see your missed childhood pictures. Come!
