5th Floor Window Sky

Changing of the sky in my 5th Floor Window.

When i woke up before dawn i saw this morning moon, and with still sleepy eyes, fumbled on my camera without turning on the light. However, my lens is only 150mm so can't get a bigger photo. Then i tried to sleep again, and finally slept so well unable to be in the office at the right time.

I am amazed at the fan-shaped haze through these cloud formations. Even some birds appreciated the views that they took advantage of the scenes.  They seldom fly in these areas before.

The Iglesia ni Kristo church dominates the skyline in this area, superimposed to the high television communication tower.

The setting sun almost shyly peeping in one of the INK towers. Isn't it like a view from a famous fairy tale play?

The expanse of the bright red sky is so wide and awesome this afternoon. I can't seem to get off my eyes from these magnificense. My mind was hypnotised by what i saw, that I almost forget the smog, which occupies the lower part of this sky too!!!

  2. They are all gorgeous. I have noticed these fan shaped rays several times. But that photo of the orange sky is more than amazing. I have not seen that. The 5th floor window skyline is going to be the talk of the town.

The reason why you thought my photos look different today is because I edited by adding soft focus with Picasa. I've just gotten a semi SLR but most of those photos are still with the P & S.

  9. Thanks everyone again for dropping by and leaving your feelings, which are my inspiration for posting again. I will not reply to each one but will answer those with queries.

One - i haven't touched that soft focus yet. What is your semi SLR? "5th window being talk of the town" - i post more in my FB and my friends want a sunset phototour in my place, but i dont agree. hehe.

Gloria - i haven't seen a variegated Hoya yet, that can be very lovely. I hope your snow will now stop for you people to see colors again.

Donna - i just used Aperture priority with clouds as White balance. I did not do any editing before uploading here, not even cropping! I am a bit lazy doing things like that.

  14. Hi again, I've got a Canon EOS 1000. I'm using it like a Point & Shoot. Have not touched the manual.

I saw your reply about using 'aperture priority with clouds as white balance'. What does that mean?
