Work turned Vacation!

I left the big city last Thursday night for an official trip regarding Trademarks. I will also deliver the Certificate of Registration for the trademark they applied for. Our plane left at 4:50pm to Zamboanga City, in Mindanao, so we went south. There was actually a typhoon in Luzon when i left, which made the 1 hour 20 min flight like a seemingly "wonderful" ride. We received a good shaking while inside the clouds. I wonder what the other passengers were thinking. I was on a window seat and i saw only white clouds. At least they are white because if gray or black, more turbulence will be experienced. I even had to hold my cup of coffee above the table, otherwise I might spill it over. I even asked God to be our pilot, to be sure! We were inside the clouds from take off to touchdown. Thanks God we touched land safely. 

So Friday activity was finished and Saturday was free. I am so lucky the boss and the assistant boss also studied in my university, and one of them also worked at the same department i worked after graduation. So it was like a sort of re-bonding moment, and i was very well attended to in this visit. Both of them have prior appointments and can't tour me around, so a driver was assigned to me that Saturday to go where i wanted. 

We passed by a butterfly house and garden, and that certainly has a very potent pheromone for me to wander in. It is owned by a prominent political family there, so named after the matriarch, Maria Clara Lobregat Garden. The plants are looking good and well kept, and they have many blooming flowers outside the enclosures. However, only a few butterfly species are reared inside. 

 There are two netted domes in the property, separated by the administration area, above is one and the 2nd is shown below. Lovely blooms and towering ornamental trees are colorfully shown outside the butterfly domes.

 Many hibiscus (gumamela) varieties, both traditional and hybrids are growing outside the domes. This multi-petalled orange variety is just one of them.

 I am not sure if this is an Ixora variety, as there are no labels of the plants, and even the butterflies.

 Lantana camara are luxuriantly growing in different areas.

 I am also not familiar with the above, but it is so lovely and just about 3 ft high.

Berries of the white Duranta, there is also a lavender variety (below). However, the blue Duranta repens is not planted there.
