Donna's Word for Wednesday has always been a challenge for some of us, but I consider it as one of the most exciting memes. Usually it takes longer to search for the photos, unlike my other normal spontaneous posts. It is now the time for Reflection. This word has a lot of interpretations if someone wishes to. I will go beyond the self reflection, but the bigger reflection around it, literally and figuratively. One is always a part of the bigger whole!
zen in a scene
I would like to believe that the ripples above is just like a figure eight, or infinity, meaning endless! It contributed to the elements in a zen-like atmosphere, or does it not?
alone but not lonely
Let us say that we are just alone if our consciousness doesn't go beyond the self, a whole lot of support is always beyond and around, supporting us.
reflection beyond the self makes the hole, or sometimes whole
Do you think this lone man reflects beyond himself?

Bardzo lubię zabawy na innych blogach na różne tematy. Też biorę w nich udział. Z Twoich zdjęć " odbić " w wodzie najbardziej podoba mi się mostek :-). Pozdrawiam. *** I really like playing on other blogs on various topics. Also take part in them. With your photos "bounce" in the water most like the bridge :-). Yours.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos as always. I too enjoy seeing relections in water.

Wonderful photos. I love to see trees reflected in a pond. And I would love to live in that house!
ReplyDeleteReally inspiring and philosophical. Your photos are wonderful, but your words and thoughts profound.
ReplyDeleteLovely bridge and house reflection photos.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics...thoughtful reflections too. Food for thought!
ReplyDeleteYou've done a marvelous job with this meme. Not only are your photos beautiful, your words are very wise. It would be very hard to pick a favorite thought or picture, but I really do like the picture of the lonely(?) yellow leaf.
ReplyDeleteAndrea, I really like this post on 2 levels. Your words are beautiful about reflection. I feel the same way but I've never been able to put them down like you have. Second, your issue today is the issue I currently have....planning several posts that require more time than others...I hate them!!! I've finished several for next month but I'm hanging onto about 4 more that need me to go and do photoshoots and interviews. And honestly, I don't feel like tackling them right now, but they are important to the "whole" and reflection of our own garden here. Beautiful pics!
ReplyDeleteYour post is an apt reminder to pause and reflect from time to time. Sometimes a hurried life makes everything around look like a blur.
ReplyDeletea little quiet time goes a long long way.
ReplyDeleteLovely and calming images. Our surroundings to contribute to we as a whole. My life is so much richer by having my garden.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo with the figure 8 and insightful reflections of both kids.
ReplyDeleteHi Andrea, Love all of the reflection pictures today. My favorite is the next to the last one --with the bridge/circles... Excellent.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
Very calming and thought provoking post. Your photos bring a nice calm to it all. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteThe best reflection is when you can reflect inward and then move outward to the whole...such an important skill and lesson...I often can connect like that in my garden and in my meditation...lovely post with pictures that bring peace and reflection!!
ReplyDeleteTerrific images! One could make up an entire book on what the man might be reflecting on! Our world is so much more beautiful if we reflect beyond ourselves, and so much richer if we extend ourselves beyond those reflections. Great post!
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous reflections, Andrea, and the thoughts that you have given to each are wonderful.
