Note: Please look at the lonely white cow at the lowest right side of the last photo, watching the sunset! Do you know if cows really love sunsets?
I would love to dedicate this post to my friend Edna, for her birthday at the end of this month.

I'm not so sure about cows liking sunsets but I sure do. Some of those skies Andrea are so dramatic looking.
ReplyDeleteAndrea, That's an amazing series of sky images! Were you affected by the cyclone where you are? -Jean
ReplyDeleteEach of these shots depict the sky in all of it's glory. Don't know if cows like sunsets but I love them all.
ReplyDeleteAndrea, your sunset pictures are splendid! Was the first picture taken from an airplane? As for the cows and sunsets, that picture is reminds me of my childhood where I often get to see cows in the sunset. I think cows will be very happy to see the sun set because that is the time they get to rest after a hard day's work at the paddy fields. There is a old wife's tale that if you are born in the year of the cow, it is better to be born after the hour of sundown and those born approx. between 6am-6pm, will have to work all their lives.
ReplyDeleteWow! They all look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCow? It's actually admiring you!
hello EVERYONE!
ReplyDeleteI am actually trying to be funny with the cow, though i tried so hard! I want to cheer you up everytime!
Rosie - i still have a lot more of those dramatic skies and clouds! That's why i always take the window seats.
Jean - thank you so much for your concern. Fortunately, i am in Metro Manila and the strong typhoon was northernmost part of the country. We are spared!
Poetic Shutterbug - Yes i am trying to show you the sky in its glorious faces, hopefully i was able to catch some.
Autumn Belle - yes the first photo is thru a plane's window, have lots of them. I like the old wives' tale about the time someone is born on the year of the cow, it's good i am not in that year, so i can be lazy most of the time! haha.
One - there again, you made me lol. But look again, it actually looks thru the sunset, and not to me. But i certainly like your joke!
Whoa......thanks for sharing those pics. I love the red in that sunset photo. Who cares about my blue skies when you have clouds and beautiful sunset pics like that! I'm from Wisconsin, land of the cow people and dairy.....cows like to sleep at that time standing up:)
ReplyDeleteAwesome skies Andrea!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you pointed out the cow - I first thought she was the silhouette of a building & I am glad to see I didn't miss something so wonderful. You really captured something special.
I would say she is definitely enjoying the sunset!
Beautiful sky shots, Andrea! So peaceful and soothing! That cow surely seems to be enjoying that view. Can you blame it?
ReplyDeleteFantastic! I'm gad you pointed out the white cow. otherwise I may not have noticed. i think cows, as well as many other animals, can appreciate sunsets. We once had a hunting dog who loved to watch the sky.
ReplyDeleteLove your pictures!!
ReplyDeleteThe sky changes all the time and you show this very well in your pictures!!
Thank you for your comment.
